Fido Does Ferndale 2011 -- That's A Wrap!

It was doggone hot for the 2011 Fido Does Ferndale and although we debated whether or not to weather the weather, we did. We brought in doggie pools, sprinklers, misters. Fido volunteers, vendors, sponsors and fans outpowered the power outage to create an event that delivered, in spite of the odds. It was hot but it was fun.

The winner of the DYSON Animal has been notified and as soon as we get a response, we'll let you know who that was.

We are still a ways from being able to build a doggie drinking fountatin but we managed to raise about $1,200 towards it. These things aren't cheap but we will continue to add to the fund with donations -- with any funds you might wish to contribute.

Thank you all who attended, who sponsored, who sold and who participated in every way. in spite of the heat and power outage, it was doggone fun!
