This year’s Holiday Ice, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is sure to be magical with a theme of “Food and Fairy Tales”. There will be 40+ ice sculptures throughout Ferndale with live carvings taking place at Como’s Restaurant, Candle Wick Shoppe, and Schiffer Park.

An entrance not to be missed, Santa Claus will be arriving at the North Pole, located at Schiffer Park, by firetruck at 10 a.m. Free photos will be available from 10 to 11 a.m. and resume again from 2 to 4 p.m. Join Santa for lunch at Rosie O’Grady’s from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Ensuring the meal is merry and bright, the Ferndale Community Concert Band will be playing live holiday music. After lunch, Santa will return to the North Pole.

“Holiday Ice is an event that is not be missed. We are looking forward to seeing the creative takes on this year’s whimsical theme,” commented Stevens. “Thank you to all our sponsors for their support to produce this event. Without them, it would not be possible.”
